CUSTOMER FEEDBACK

"I very, very, very rarely bead other people's work but this is definitely on my "bead over Christmas" list."

  1. - Jean Power, editor of Bead magazine, United Kingdom

“I zipped the darling little snake together yesterday morning.  Your directions were very clear.  I was worried about my use of single 6 lb. Fireline, but it seemed to work just fine.  You really came up with a great design!  I love playing with it and wearing it on my finger.

Thank you so much for your compliments.  I assure you the feeling is mutual.  I love your amaryllis and lily blooms!”

Leslie Frazier, bead designer and teacher

Here is the inspiration photograph, used with permission of Gene Ott.  Thanks, Gene!  See his website at http://www.snakesandfrogs.com.

The pattern includes charts, photos, and word directions.  You can print the 4 pages if you wish.  This is basic peyote stitch, but with a twist.  The pattern is intermediate level, and is for patient beaders (if you are an impatient beader, you will break your beads).  This tiny little snake is 12” long if it was possible to uncoil him (it isn’t) and about 6mm in diameter.  Once you  understand how to make him, you will be able to design other snakes and coils.
